    Hi,

Kindly suggest if there is any way to restrict from image or text thefts. After importing into Moodle (or directly which i have not given a try), the slides are open for abuse. Can you provide some control  or is it already available to use.

    Regards

    Hi Srikrishna,

Because the authoring tool and ultimately the course is published online the possibility of image and text theft is an unfortunate reality. I will discuss options with our development team to see if there is anything we can do. I will further investigate your concerns with our team.

Currently, I think that the best option is to include a copyright on your theme. This is done after you activate a theme in our theme builder; it appears below the text area for naming your theme.

    Regards,

    Kirk

I am not sure I understand what kind of "abuse" you are referring to. You would control access to the course through your LMS, (in this case, Moodle). Is it your students who will abuse the content? In what way?

If you mean they could make copies of images by copying and pasting from the browser, that is true of all web content. It is actually not easy in many of the templates because it has been embedded into a streaming flash file or some other format which won't show up in the browser cache. But there is no way to stop a determined person from copying pictures or text, except by restricting or controlling access. That is what the LMS is for. You could always run the course on a VPN.
