I extracted a MyUdutu course I made and put it on a network drive at work. When I run it lately, the Flash seems to hang when it gets to some multiple choice screens. (The rollover effects won't work or it won't pop up the feedback balloon or it won't highlight the "submit answer" button, etc.) Most of the time it unfreezes after a few seconds (only to do it again on the next screen) but occasionally it stops altogether. I also put it on our intranet web server and a remote web server. Same results.

Are you ABSOLUTELY sure there is no absolute truth?

Hmm.  Not sure.  What browser and version of Flash are you using?  When is the last time you updated Flash?  You need at least version 8 for most of our templates.  Do you have any antivirus software running?  Do you get the hangups for all browsers?  Has it ever not hung for you?  Does it work fine when previewing directly from myUdutu?

It's hard to tell what is at play, here.  If you can supply answers to the above questions, it would help narrow the field.

 I'm running Flash 9.0, updated a few weeks ago. Anti-virus is McAfee enterprise so I don't have any control over it. I tried it on two different computers, both XP Pro SP2; both would hang. Can't test it on anything but IE in this environment. (I can try the remote web version from home on FireFox.) It was not doing this until just today. Seems to work fine from the Udutu preview.
