We are currently developing an e-learning module for law students in The Netherlands using Udutu. We however were wondering if it is possible to use a theme which has an adaptive screenresolution. Most of the standard themes only have a fixed resolution of 800x600 or 1024x768. Student who use another resolution will automatically have a lot of blank space which surrounds the inserted text. We therefore are wondering if we can use a theme which doesn’t have this problem.

Does anyone have an idea how to solve this?

     Kind regards,

The windows actually open to the appropriate dimensions, so there isn't blank space unless they maximize the window.

We may be able to develop a custom theme with adaptive size, but the cost might be prohibitive, and you would lose the consistency of the look and feel.  The drawback with using a templated system such as ours is that the templates tend to be rigid in terms of element positioning and size in order to provide a consistent look and feel.  The advantage, of course, is the speed with which you can develop your eLearning material.
