  • Embedding Udutu Course in a Web Page - NOT in a new browser window?

     02-17-2010, 4:16 PM

    Hi all,

Does anyone know if it is possible to embed a (self-hosted on my server) Udutu course into a web page:

    For example,

    If my site is www.mysite.com

When someone navigates to "www.mysite.com/course-page"... the Udutu course would appear (with it's sub navigation) within / on the web page and within the layout of the main site.

So far I've only been able to link directly to the "course.html" which loads in it's own window.

For some students the experience of being launched into another browser window (and thereby leaving the main site navigation) can be confusing.  It would be nice to keep them in a single browser window.

Thank you in advance for any answers or suggestions,

    Chris

Found the solution elsewhere on the forum:

Paste the URL of the course.html into a link within an iframe.

    Example:

     <iframe frameborder="0" width="940" height="528" src="URL_PATH/course12345.html"; align="center" scrolling="Auto"; bgcolor="#C9D3DE"></iframe>

    Presto!
