This update introduces a new assessment template: 'Find Targets'. This template is similar to our "What's wrong with this image" template, but now authors may precisely define their own image 'hotspots'.
Additional new features:
- the ability to batch upload images, flash, audio, and documents. To use, simply zip all the content you wish to upload, and go the the library/add content section. Click the 'add batch content' button to use. Once you've uploaded your zip file, you select which media objects you wish to add to your library. You can also change the title of the objects through this interface.
- the ability to clean out your library of unused objects with the click of a button. From the library/search section, click 'purge unused content' to eliminate all content not currently associated to a course from your library.
- a more robust 'authoring history' feature. This feature gives a complete log of all changes made to courses and media objects by the user who made the change. Please note that this feature only applies to changes made since Nov. 16, 2007
- changing themes and assessments will now reflect those changes immediately when previewing your course. Previously, it could take a minute or two before those changes appeared
Also, Premium myUdutu users now have the ability to 'version' their courses. This spares the need to extract backups of your courses, or create copies of them (which can clutter the workspace if there are a lot of them). Please contact info@udutu.com for more details on how to gain access to this feature.
Coming soon: the ability to create courses with full Section 508 compliance
