    Displaying Page Numbers for Jumping

     06-04-2008, 9:39 AM

    Hi

I would like to allow viewers to jump to a specific page in my course by clicking on that page number rather than scrolling through the whole course.  Is there a setting that will allow me to do that?

All courses have a button for a 'course map' by default.  When you click on this button, a pop up will appear with all non-resource screens (pages) in the course.  Learners can click on any screen link to go directly to that screen.

You can also use the "jump-to" feature to automatically jump to any screen in the course, or to give the learner choices. Finally you could create a "home" screen or an index screen and give them an option to return to this throughout the course. So there are at least three ways to accomplish what you want to do. The course map is automatically created as you build the course, so that is probably the simplest solution. You can choose to display it in either linear or tree formats.
