Today's update includes the much awaited full Section 508 compliance for myUdutu. With today's update, courses can be created with myUdutu that will be accessible to deaf or blind learners, and content can be made accessible to screen readers. Additionally (and as a part of this compliance), keyboard navigation through courses will be possible.
To make a course Section 508 compatible, the course's theme must have the "Your course is accessible by Section 508 standards" checkbox checked under Advanced Options. By default, this checkbox is unchecked. Checking it will alter the appearance of Assessment screens for some themes (they will always have a white background rather than a transparent background).
Templates that can be used in Section 508 compliant courses are marked with a
symbol. Templates that cannot be used in a Section 508 compliant course will be marked with a
symbol.
This Saturday, Feb 14, we'll be adding PowerPoint 2007 support to our PowerPoint->myUdutu converter.
